Twin Lakes

The twin lakes tourist area was constructed in July 1958 on the 0.667-acre plot originally belonged to the compound of Shanghai Changning Maternity & Infant Health Hospital when two artificial lakes of different sizes were dug with trees planted around them, forming a charming view of lakes and hills.

Covering a total area of 4.5 acres, this tourist area also features a stone pavilion named Spring Pavilion (Chunzai Ting) on the northern bank of the lakes. All these offer a comfortable lakeside landscape with luxuriant trees and flowers reflecting on the tranquil water.
