World Famous College Students will perform for Expo on July

More than 2000 college students from about 30 world-famous universities such as Yale University, Harvard University and Oxford University will assemble at Expo Site on July to participate in the Shanghai World Expo Music Festival. As one of the series events 'Youth Expo', it is hosted by Fudan University.

Shanghai World Expo Music Festival is a show by students all over the world. With 'Interactivity' as one of its highlights, it will provide an opportunity of communication for excellent youth students worldwide. Some of the college students are experts in music performance. From 4th July to 18th July, they will host a variety of performance including chorus, jazz music, symphony, percussion music and dancing in the Puxi Expo Center

In addition to the performances at Expo site, these students will also communicate with local residents in some communities in shanghai such as Xin Tian Di. During the period, a string music performance by Eton College and a concert by Chen Gang will took place in Shanghai Concert Hall. The performance will be played by Mr.Chengang, the composer of the violin concerto 'Butterfly Lovers', as well as the conductor Mr.Caokun, the British Chamber Orchestra of Eton College, the student orchestra of Nanyang Model High School, etc.
